The article below is our latest article in The Irish Times, written by Sylvia Thompson capturing a day at one of our Embers Summer Camps. This Embers was based in Dun Laoghaire at the Royal St George Yacht Club where our wonderful staff take our amazing participants out on the water for them to experience activities such as canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and basically having fun on the water.

Our Embers Camps are so important in their role of breaking down barriers. This year we will carry out 10,000 hours on camps and another 15,000 hours in our therapeutic services.
Our mission is that everyone in the country will have access to activity based interventions.
We partner with other agencies, county councils, Tusla - Child and Family Agency, Health Service Executive and driven individuals to ensure we achieve our mission.
We also run Embers Camps in Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny, Carlow and Tipperary
